Cambridge-Ellis School seeks a balance in age and gender in each of our classrooms and strives to build a community rich in diversity.

Applications: Cambridge-Ellis accepts applications, accompanied by an application fee, beginning in October for the following September. Please call 617-354-0014 to request an application or click here to download. Applications are due February 28.

Parent Tours: After you send us your application, please call us to schedule a tour. The visits take place October through February, and at that time families will be able to tour the school, observe in classrooms, and meet with the teachers and staff. Cambridge-Ellis does not meet with children prior to admission. Children who are offered admission will be invited to visit Cambridge-Ellis School in the spring.

Enrollment Notification: Decision letters and contracts are sent out on April 1. A signed contract, accompanied by a deposit, ensures a child's placement for the fall. When the number of applicants exceeds the number of spaces, wait list notifications will be sent, and families will be called from the wait list as spots become available.

Current and alumni families and families offering diversity are given admission priority.

Financial Aid: Scholarships are available for families who qualify for financial aid. To request a financial aid application, please call 617-354-0014 in January. Applications are due March 12, and you will need to include a copy of your previous year's tax return.
